What Exactly is Post Boosting?
Think of Post Boosting as a friendly amplifier. When you boost a public post using your Soshi, our internal system automatically recalibrates its ranking score. This gives your content a massive visibility upgrade, making it significantly more likely to appear in the Explore feed of users across the platform.
Best of all? You are in complete control of how much power you want to put behind your post. We offer three different tiers to fit your goals:

Rules of the Road: Eligibility & Restrictions
To keep the Explore feed safe, high-quality, and enjoyable for everyone, there are a few ground rules for what can and cannot be boosted.
You can boost a post if:
- You built it: You must be the original author of the post.
- It’s for everyone: The post’s privacy setting must be set to Public (Everyone on mewe or Anyone Only).
- Your wallet is ready: You have enough Soshi in your wallet to cover your chosen tier.
- The timing feels right: You can boost a post at any point in its lifetime, whether it’s brand new or a classic.
Boosting is unavailable if the post is:
- A reshare of another user’s content.
- A draft or a post scheduled for a future release.
- Private, or restricted to specific friends or groups.
- Already locked or already boosted (for now, it’s one boost per post!).
⚠️ Crucial Safety Note: If a boosted post violates mewe’s Terms of Service (TOS), the boost will be permanently invalidated and will not take effect. Keep it kind, keep it clean, and keep it community-friendly!
Step-by-Step: How to Boost Your First Post
Ready to see your content in lights? We’ve made the process incredibly simple. You don’t need to dig through complex settings you can do it all right from your post box.
Step 1: Locate the Boost Button
Go to your eligible public post. You’ll spot a bright, shiny Boost Post button located directly on the post box interface.
Step 2: Review the Guidelines & Lock It In
Click the button. A quick prompt will pop up to remind you how the boost works.
Select your preferred tier (Low, Medium, or High) based on the Soshi price displayed.
Step 3: Confirm the Soshi Transfer
Happy with your choice? Hit confirm. MeWe will automatically securely transfer the Soshi from your personal wallet to the system wallet.
Step 4: Watch the Magic Happen!
Success! As soon as the transaction clears, you’ll get a confirmation message. Our system instantly recalculates your post’s ranking score, and your content will begin its journey into the Explore tab feed.
