What inspired you to join MeWe?
After watching the Facebook Congressional Testimony on how they exploited children online which directly led to long-term negative behavioral disorders, particularly in underaged girls, I decided that I could no longer support that organization. Knowing that it is through the collection and sale of Facebook users’ likes, posts and shares that they make Billions in profits at the harm of our most vulnerable, I looked for alternative platforms that protected user digital data.

What keeps you active on the MeWe app?
I have made incredible connections with like-minded friends from around the world and look forward to the daily interaction on topics ranging from professional sports, music, military history, comedy, artwork, global travel and more.
If you could describe your ideal community in three words, what would they be?
Respectful and thoughtful.
If you could describe the content you enjoy sharing in three words, what would they be?
Things I enjoy.
What do you love most about MeWe compared to other platforms?
I enjoy the fact that I control my timeline and it isn’t cluttered with advertisements.
Who or what inspires the content you share, and why?
When I hear a song that I enjoy, a memory of an event, a family gathering, a daily joke, I am inspired to share it with my friends on MeWe, my MeWe Peeps – whom I have referred to as my #Meeps for several years.
What’s one tip or trick you’d give to someone who’s just getting started on MeWe?
My advice would be: Be the Change You Want to See. If you want a fun interactive platform – then post fun, interactive content. What you want to see on a social media platform…. Do it!
What’s a fun fact about you that most of your friends on MeWe might not have guessed?
I’ve been from Timbuktu to Kathmandu. Literally.
What’s your favourite MeWe Group and why?
My favorite (no “u”!!! 🙂 ) is my Comedy Group: You Really Are A Funny Guy! That’s where I like to post some funny memes, comics, Dad Jokes, etc. No politics and the jokes are to be PG13 or less so that it is welcoming to as many members as possible.
